Islamic & Middle Eastern
Islamic Art Exhibit (IAE) is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 in San Francisco Bay Area, California.Its mission is to promote Islamic Art, provide a platform for the creative individuals of the Muslim Community and to build bridges between diverse communities through visual arts. The tradition of Islamic Art has flourished throughout the world for 1400 years, with beautiful patterns and designs unique to the art manifested in forms such as architecture, calligraphy, pairing and ceramics. In the modern world artists have new media to express their creativity while remaining true to tIslamic art’s origins.
IAE has exhibited in the local public libraries, Islamic Centers as well as Museums and Art galleries for the last 6 years.
